I almost considered giving this place a good review, but my stay was marred by the kitchen facilities being incredibly limited and the pool being cloudy until day six. To top it off, I expected an upgrade for all the inconveniences but received absolutely nothing. It’s like they forgot I was there, just tragic, really.

nice stay but room for improvement
The warm family atmosphere made us feel right at home, as we interacted with friendly staff throughout our stay. The pool area provided a great space for relaxation, with plenty of sunbeds available even during peak times. The food was undoubtedly a highlight, with fresh ingredients enhancing the flavors and an impressive selection of cocktails. We enjoyed a lovely sea view from our balcony, which added to the overall experience.
The kitchenette supplies needed improvement for a more functional cooking experience.

I loved my stay at golden sun aparthotel during my second visit to tigaki. it truly exceeded my expectations. the family atmosphere and stunning views of the salt lakes made it so special. my room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the pool area always had sunbeds available.
kitchen supplies were pretty limited.

Shower curtain ineffective, resulting in water spilling onto the floor. The kitchen lacked some basic supplies for washing up, which had to be bought at a nearby supermarket. watch out for mosquitoes. they can be a real bother, even with netting in place.

It was just a good match for a walk in the evening in Tigkaki (Kos) with great value-to-price ratio. The pancakes with Nutella at the pool bar were a hit with my kids, making our breakfast very enjoyable. Make sure to prebook taxis for smoother travel around the island.
